The Futuristic Look For Spring

The Futuristic Look. It's happening on all the catwalks. But how do we pull it off? Vogue says..

-Make an entrance in Gareth Pugh's high-shine foil-effect mac
-Avoid a costume drama: pare down in subtle slimline shapes
-Fine layers, like slips and tees, complement strong metallic finishes
-Bold space-age jewellery creates an instant look

Looking in topshop, elements from this are already starting to emerge in many aspects of their clothes. H&M are doing the same. Although the runway shoots make it seem new and surreal, but I am in two minds about whether it will work or not. Will it last the spring? or only a few weeks? maybe even less.

Dolce and Gabbana is the main label for creating this look. Fendi, Gareth Pugh, Hussein Chalayan, and Lanvin also have big impressions to the trend.

Some days just feel so rubbish don't they! i mean like today. woke up at ten to seven in the morn with Masterdon pumping on my CD alarm! on a sunday! yeah i have to go swimming at 9 but that doesn't mean my alarm should go off that early. grr!

Anyway then there was no milk so i could have no breakfast. I thought i would be fine etc but when i got in the pool it was so horrible! My belly groaned and i couldn't breathe and garrr!!! yeuahch.

So that has been my terrible day so far. Actually there was a great bit but still....

But lets not get down about things.

Wow I have had this account 4 like a day and im addicted already! What a loser lol. I had loads of what to write but they have all gone out of my head. I suppose there are some things puzzling me. like...

• Why do all the hot guys fancy Ginni?
• Why am I stuck in on a Friday night whislt ur mates are all screwing the guy u like at some house party?
• Would someone be so gullible to jump off a cliff if you told them there was a ledge underneath that would catch u?

These are just some of the crappy interesting thoughts of my life lol.

My First Blog!

Here it is- my first blog! I don't really know what to write so i guess I'll just ramble on.....
So about me:

• My name is Pearl and I am a 14 year old living in Exeter, England
• I love most music but non mainstream indie is my fav atm
• Fashion is one of the things I love to bits, as is art, Rimmel sweet jelly lipgloss, singing, swimming and most other sports
• Most of my time is spent with my friends- often bitching about how life basically sucks! (hence "The Cynical Life...)
• Singstar is the most awesome game ever but I also adore Halo 2.
• The best movies are Underworld, Nightmare Before Chrismas, all Scary Movies (1,2,3 and 4) But the one above all the others is Ghost World! (with Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson scuse spelling)
• I'm a bisexual not a lesbian as everyone seems to say! I'm not just doing it to be cool either.
